2024 Looks Forward To Dubai’s Exciting Expo City Mall

Dubai’s exciting Expo City Mall
Dubai is flourishing at a rapid rate when it comes to the property market, but the entertainment section is definitely not lagging behind with exciting projects and opportunities that the city is looking forward to in the coming future. This has caused a major inflow of investors and HNWI to flock to the city not just for their business prospects, but to also have an experience of the entertainment areas Dubai is introducing the world to.

Expo City Mall in Emaar South Project

One of the mega projects of 2024 is the Expo City Mall which is looking ahead to the opening in the same year featuring a large-scale offering consisting of over 190 shops and F and B outlets. The mall is said to be built in the Emaar South Project as per the official Twitter handle of the Dubai Media Office.

In terms of the gross leasable area or GLA, the mall will be approximately stretched to 385,000 square ft, making it one of the smaller malls located in Emaar. On October 1, 2022, Expo City Dubai has opened that hosted over 24 million visitors for the 2020 Dubai Expo which ran from October 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022. Expo City Dubai, like the Expo 2020 Dubai is at a strategic location and can be reached through the metro and doesn’t require any entrance fee. This is, however, not the case for many other tourist attractions in Dubai which have a ticketing system.

Sustainable Living in Dubai

Dubai is famous for promoting a sustainable environment and the government is taking impressive measures for the same, which is why cars are not going to be permitted on the sites but the public can avail of commute options like scooters, bicycles, and even buggies. Dubai’s sustainable policy also forbids single-use plastic materials on the premises and the buildings are meant to adhere to international sustainability standards so that they can save up on energy and water usage. Expo City Dubia has also launched the first phase of the premise which is the Expo Valley and Expo Central.

The soaring UAE economy

The sustainable and eco-friendly designs are a major crowd attraction even though the prices are a little steep. Prices start at approximately AED 1.2 million, but what might be steep in price, makes up with sustainable and eco-friendly designs. As per the reports of Ernst & Young (EY), Expo 2020 Dubai has been labeled as a spectacular triumph as it contributed a massive $42bn to UAE’s economy. The massive success of the World Expo sent a ripple through the world, and Dubai welcomes more than 24 million visitors and will sustain over 35,000 jobs per year for the years to come.
